Alex- The book reminds me of myself because I love books too!

Esmeralda- The dog smelled one of the books.

Aaron- The book reminds me of Mrs. Bailey because she has dinosaur books too.

Annette- I love the books because I love books and dogs.

Mariel- The dinosaur book reminded me of my dreams, since I usually dream with dinosaurs.

David- The book reminds me of my brother because my brother loves books.

Please use comments from your students. Give them the chance to see you typing on the blog. Use their names when they provide feedback. Use this as a writing activity to support their opinion with specific evidence from the book. Try to build on "I love it!" by asking WHY?

For every 2 books that you comment on, your name will go in a drawing for $150 Scholastic Dollars for your classroom! The drawing will be held at the end of the school year. More details to come!
